David has served for 25 years in Taiwan with OMF International. During that time his ministry has involved Bible teaching, evangelism and leading a church planting teams focused on Taiwan’s working class.
David is married to Lucy, who is Taiwanese and they have a daughter, Naomi, who is 18 years old. David initially trained at All Nations Christian college but has since completed studies with Singapore Bible college and Spurgeon’s college, where the focus of his masters thesis was ‘Contextual preaching to the Taiwanese working class’. He is currently the field director for OMF Taiwan overseeing around 70 missionaries from 15 different nationalities. David enjoys helping new missionaries understand the challenges of cross–cultural evangelism and finding creative ways of teaching the bible within Taiwanese churches. In his free time David enjoys cycling up Taiwan’s steep mountains.
