February 2024 Prayer Update
FROM FRANCE TO NORTH AFRICA
THE LATEST FROM BANGOR WORLDWIDE
Welcome to our monthly mailer for February 2024 which includes some direction for prayers that we would appreciate at this time.
GLOBAL MISSION AGENCY
SAT-7
Each month, we will introduce you to a different mission agency that features as part of our Global Village in the summer.
SAT-7 is an international Christian media ministry, bringing life-changing joy to the people of the Middle East and North Africa through powerful, faith-filled television and digital media programmes. Please pray for women of the Middle East and North Africa - so many are responding to the Gospel today and are being helped by SAT-7. With millions of regular viewers and with hundreds contacting us every day, SAT-7 broadcasts using satellite TV, smartphones and online media, reaching into homes and touching the hearts of people in this troubled region.
For beautiful stories of grace, contact Alan Cousins (Ireland Regional Coordinator).
SPEAKER PROFILE
PAUL COOKE
We’re delighted to be welcoming Paul Cooke, the UK Director of France Mission since 2010, as a guest speaker this summer. Prior to 2010, Paul was Associate Professor and Head of French at the University of Exeter.
France Mission began in 1974 when a few British Francophiles set up a charitable Trust to help support the work of evangelical churches in France. Over the past half century, FM has been helping British Christians who love France for whatever reason to see the country as a vital European mission field, with strong linguistic and cultural ties to many other parts of the world.

POINTS FOR PRAYER
COMMITTEE
MEETING
Please pray for our committee as it meets (DV) on the 7th February. We have important decisions to make in finalising the programme for the 2024 Convention. In addition, we will be giving thought to our launch events in May and to initiatives for young people. Pray that we will know God's leading through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
GLOBAL
VILLAGE
During February we will be engaging with the many mission agencies which attend our Global Village each year. We will be inviting registrations for this year's event so pray that the agencies will be aware of this and sign up. Pray also that as we give thought to some changes to the layout etc., that we will be guided to making those alterations which will be beneficial to all involved.
PUBLICITY
This month our publicity and design team will be seeking to finalise the form and content of our publicity material for the Convention in August. Please pray that they will be inspired in this and what is produced will be attractive and above all, glorifying to God.
LESLEY
STEWART
Give thanks that Lesley, our secretary, is making good progress in her recovery from a fractured ankle. Pray that she will shortly be given the "all clear" and be able to resume driving again.
