Fred Hand

Fred is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Waakisa Ministries where he has worked for over 20 years. He is married to Florence and has two daughters and 3 grandchildren. He is a member and Clerk of Session of 2^nd Randalstown Presbyterian Church.

Waakisa’s work is focused on our Youth Centre in Uganda. A team of trained Ugandan staff, provide a safe environment for girls and their babies, and equip them with vital life skillsand training, to enable them to provide for themselves and their babies.

Waakisa are currently building a Primary School with a Christian ethos that will be beneficial for the local community and will further support the educational needs of those children already attending the Waakisa Nursery School.
