Happy Birthday George Verwer!

Founder of Operation Mobilisation, George Verwer, celebrated his 81st Birthday on 3rd July. He said, “There’s no retirement in the work of the Lord!” and he’s absolutely correct. Pray for George as he visits Portrush Baptist Church on Sunday 18th August to share at the morning and evening services.

He gave his life to Christ at a Billy Graham crusade in Madison Square Garden in New York on 3rd March 1955. An elderly lady who lived across the street from his High School put George on her “Holy Ghost Hit List” as he shared in Belfast at our 80th Anniversary event, the ministry of OM was birthed in prayer and still needs your prayers today. 

Pray for George as he visits Portrush Baptist Church on Sunday 18th August to share at the morning and evening services. If you’re available, why not plan to attend and support him as this will be his only visit to Northern Ireland this year. 

Pray for the ministry of OM and the 30 from Northern Ireland currently serving at home and overseas as they want to see more people motivated to Pray, Give and Go to serve God across the world.
