John McLernon
Representing: Crosslinks Mission
John is the Mission Director for Crosslinks – a global mission society with ministries in 35 countries across five continents. Originally from Portrush, John is now based in Crowborough, East Sussex, with his wife Maggie and two teenage daughters.
Having served in HM Coastguard during his time as a student at Jordanstown, and then working in the IT industry in London for 10 years, John led the UK and Ireland operations of the Central Asian mission People International for 13 years.
Taking on the role of Crosslinks Mission Director in 2019, John is responsible for leading and supporting Crosslinks mission partners, projects and the bursary scheme that enables global gospel workers to be trained for ministry.
Starting out as the Bible Churchmen’s Mission Society (BCMS) in 1922 Crosslinks celebrates its centenary this year.
