Lindsay Brown , a native of Wales,together with his wife Ann , has been involved in student ministry globally for 40 years.
He has served variously as the General Secretary of IFES(1991–2007), International Director of the Lausanne Movement( 2008–17) and currently as the Director of FEUER( the Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe), a network of 60 evangelists across Europe, who speak at university mission weeks.
During this past year the team has spoken at university missions in over 200 universities in over 30 European countries.
He studied European history at Oxford University and theology in Paris. He is the author of ‘shining like stars; the power of the Gospel in the world’s universities’ pub. IVP, and a soon to be published book on the missiology of Calvin and Luther.
He loves walking Welsh hills and all sports.Ann and Lindsay’s son , Owen,works with Christians in Sport in European universities.
