October 2023 Prayer Update

There is a definite chill in the air and autumn has officially arrived. We thank you for joining with us in prayer for God’s ongoing work around the world.
SEMINAR

30 YEARS OF
FIELDS OF LIFE
To mark 30 years since Fields of Life was founded in Magheralin Parish, an anniversary celebrations will be held in St. Saviour's, Dollingstown. Come and hear stories from Trevor and Ruth Stevenson and some of the people who journeyed around Ireland on a tractor to raise the money to get the project started. There will be refreshments as you chat and look at some old photos and articles as well as up to date information on what Fields of Life are doing now.

FROM LISBURN
TO LATIN AMERICA
We join in prayer for Jordan and Zoe Williamson currently serving in Guatemala with Latin Link, one of our stories in the 2023 magazine.
We meet again on Wednesday 18th to work on a first draft of our programme for the convention next August. A number of inquiries have gone out to possible speakers so please pray that we will get positive responses to the ones of God's choice and that the committee will be inspired as they consider them
It is hoped to have a programme of meetings for Youth Adults again this winter. Please pray for Jason and Keith as they seek to put this together. Pray also for our search for a successor to fill the post that Jason has occupied over the past five years. He has
done an excellent job in building up this work and we are looking for someone to carry it on
Give thanks that we have seen a growth in both the numbers receiving our monthly Prayer Updates and also the numbers coming to our weekly prayer meeting. This is an answer to prayer and a real encouragement. We have a renewed confidence as we go forward when we see His Spirit moving in these ways. Pray that the numbers will continue to grow
Please pray for Maud, a dear friend of the Convention, as she deals with severe health issues. Pray that she will know God's peace and comfort at this difficult time.
