Prayer

Since 1938 a Worldwide prayer meeting has met faithfully every Monday morning at 11am in Bangor Congregational Church on Central Avenue. This is open to anyone and is a time of fellowship and prayer for missionaries around the world, especially focusing on those from Northern Ireland. If you are free on a Monday morning, we would be delighted for you to join us and even if you can’t attend please join us where you are in praying for World Mission.

Eric Lindsay died on the 8th April 2024 having served as a member of the Worldwide committee for a number of years and, after his retirement, he faithfully led the Monday Morning Prayer Meeting for nearly two decades. An avid supporter of the Convention, he will be dearly missed and his loyalty fondly remembered. Our prayers continue that God’s peace and presence remain with his wife, Joan, and the entire family circle at this time.
