Trevor ( known to the youth in his church as The Rev Trev) is a former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and is Minister Emeritus of Lucan Presbyterian Church in County Dublin, where he served as minister from 1983 to 2014.
From a handful of people he saw the church grow to become a vibrant multicultural and multi ethnic congregation. He is one of Ireland’s most gifted Bible teachers and communicators, someone whose ministry has been a challenge and encouragement to many across the denominations.
When elected Moderator in the year 2000, he was the first Republic of Ireland–based Moderator since 1964 and at 51 was also the youngest minister to be elected to the office.
He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and studied Theology to doctoral level at the University of Edinburgh.
Dr Morrow was chairman of Nexus Ireland, an evangelical reconciliation initiative for young Irish people. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Ulster for his contribution to peace making in Ireland. He is now facilitating bridge building between Messianic Jews and Palestinian Christians.
Trevor is married to Carys who is Welsh, his son Peter is Canadian and his daughter Ceri, is a Dubliner with an Enniskillen husband. They have three grandchildren.
