Wat Ho Meas grew up a Buddhist in Cambodia under Vietnamese occupation. As a university student he heard the gospel and believed in Jesus.
While furthering his studies in Japan, Ho met Laura–Jane from N Ireland, who was serving the Lord with OMF. They were married in September 2006 and continued to serve among both Japanese people and international students in Japan.
Feeling his need for equipping and understanding of the Word of God, Ho entered the Irish Baptist College in September 2010, and is due to graduate in May 2013. Following the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011, Ho, Laura–Jane and son Joseph were led to return to Japan for 3 months to assist with OMF’s Iwate Relief Project. They are praying towards a return to Japan for longer–term service.
