2019

We’re looking forward to our 2019 Convention running from Friday 23rd to Saturday 31st August. Plans are well advanced and we are delighted to be able to confirm some of the speakers and agencies who are already “signed up “.

Don Carson has agreed to lead our Bible Studies each morning and will also speak at one or two of our other meetings. He is a prolific writer, with a worldwide speaking ministry and is a regular visitor to these shores. Many will therefore be aware of him either through his books or having heard him in the flesh. We are grateful to Don for having agreed to give us so much time out of his busy schedule and are confident that God will use him to bring His Word to us in August.

Next year will be the 40th anniversary of the mission agency, People International and we will be using the opportunity of the Convention to share in their celebration. They will provide a speaker for one of  our evening meetings.Eric and Anne Moore who received their call to mission work at the Convention in 1965 will be with us to share their experiences of 46 years in the Lord’s service which has taken them to different parts of the globe.

London City Mission which has had a close association with the Convention down the years will be involved again in 2019 to bring us up to date with their work in our capital city.Europe seems to be always in the news these days but the agency Transform Europe Network will be with us to give a different perspective on what is going on across the continent, away from the Brexit headlines.
