On 4th January, Maud Kells, a missionary with WEC International, was shot in her home in Mulita, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The 75year old who has served in the African country since 1968, was immediately flown by MAF to a hospital in Nyunkunde (DRC).Maud received an OBE in the 2015 New Year Honours list and the news of the incident made considerable headlines across the UK. Please pray for the Finance Committee as it meets on Friday 4th December and then for the General Committee as it meets on Monday 7th December.These are important meetings as we seek to disperse the income received during 2015 to a wide range of mission agencies and other mission causes and then to further our plans for the 2016 Convention. We need to know Gods will in each of these areas and would ask for prayer that we would have the wisdom needed to discern what this is....

Please pray for the finalisation of our programme for the evening meetings in 2016.There are still some details to be agreed and please pray also for our discussions with various interested parties about seminars etc. which aim to broaden the appeal and reach of the Convention....

It takes many months of planning to pull together our annual programme and this year promises to be our most packed schedule yet.From youth streams to seminars, our Global Village and not forgetting our final night in the Belfast Waterfront Hall, there should be something for everyone in August....
